Wheelchair Assistance & Port Accessibility

Wheelchair Assistance at MIA: When you arrive, you can request wheelchair assistance from your airline. This service is available from the moment you step off the plane until you leave the airport. Airport staff can help you get to baggage claim and through the typical arrival steps.

Accessibility at PortMiami: PortMiami is designed to support passengers with disabilities, with accessible routes and services throughout the terminals. The part that usually needs the most planning is the ride from the airport to your specific cruise terminal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will I be picked up?
At the accessible pickup area of your arrival terminal. You will receive a message with details of the terminal, door and zone. Collect your bags and meet your driver at the curb.
Do you provide round-trip service?
Yes. You can schedule your return trip at the same time as your arrival, or book it later once you know your departure details. Many guests like to reserve both legs in advance so they don’t have to think about transportation during their vacation.
Can I stay in my wheelchair during the ride?
Yes. Our vans are designed so that you can access them via a ramp or lift while staying in your wheelchair. You will then be fully secured with a four-point tie-down and seat belt. If you prefer to transfer into a vehicle seat, we will secure your chair and assist as needed.
How many companions can ride with me?
Most vans seat 3 guests plus the wheelchair space. We'll confirm capacity during booking.
Will somebody be able to help me?
Yes. Our staff has experience assisting people with disabilities.
Do you take power wheelchairs and scooters?
Yes. Tell us the model or approximate size during booking so we can send the right vehicle.
